About the project:
The Smart Puzzle Book for Seniors is part of ALBI’s “Mozkovna” series – brain-teasing activity books designed to be senior-friendly. With large print, a handy magnifier, and various knowledge-based quizzes, the books are perfect for light entertainment and cognitive stimulation at home or on the go. The concept was tested and co-developed with Senior Fitness, a cultural initiative in Prague.

Brief:
To create a set of 200 black-and-white illustrations that would complement the quizzes and puzzles while being technically print-ready. The style had to be simple, easily recognizable, and visually clean so readers could quickly understand the connection between the image and the content of each task.

Process:
Each quiz theme contained a set of questions, and I selected 5–6 key visuals per topic. Some required more specific elements such as composers’ portraits, famous castles, or tennis trophies.

All illustrations were created as vector graphics, allowing for easy editing and scaling across various formats. The illustrations added a dynamic visual layer to the puzzle book and enhanced the overall experience for users.
