Poster and Print Materials for the Animated Film “Crossing” – MAUR film

About the film:
Crossing is a full-length animated film following the dramatic journey of siblings Kyona and Adriel, who flee persecution in an unnamed Eastern European country. It’s a story about the human desire for a better life – full of risk, hope, and identity. As the characters face countless dangers, their experience becomes a tale worth telling again and again. Brief:
To design the main poster for the film Crossing, using visuals from the film and capturing its emotional tone. The poster had to center on the main character Kyona and the recurring motif of birds. Based on the poster, I also created a postcard, brochure, educational materials, and merchandise designs (T-shirts and tote bags).

Process:
I selected and combined four key visuals from the film that best reflected the story and its core themes. The final composition features a thoughtful portrait of Kyona and a flock of birds in flight, both of which reappear across the rest of the campaign materials.
